About Dr. Ann-Marie
Dr. Ann-Marie's Story
"My experience with naturopathic medicine began at a young age."
"When I was a child, I was extremely active, I loved to run but I was constantly sick. My parents would stay up with me all night while I coughed. I had to stay home from school. I couldn’t run or play without coughing. The traditional medical system diagnosed me with asthma. I was put on a puffer and fed antibiotics whenever I had another cold. But none of the medication worked."
"At a loss and feeling helpless, my parents took me to a naturopathic doctor. The first thing they did was test me for food sensitivities. And it was the most perceptive way of interpreting my condition. The smartest way of solving the problem because it looked at the root cause. I wasn't sick for over a year. It changed the trajectory of my life which is why I knew I had to become a naturopathic doctor."
